The Blackall Range has boutique wineries and small vineyards close together, so a day of tasting is easy from Lillypilly's. Flame Hill Vineyard near Montville, The Barrel at Clouds Vineyard near Maleny and Maleny Mountain Wines are the three cellar doors most guests visit, and Brouhaha Brewery and Copperhead Brewery add craft beer. Our cottages are about 5 minutes from Montville and 10 minutes from Maleny.

Flame Hill Vineyard, Montville
A short 2 km drive from Montville village at 249 Western Avenue. The wines are estate grown and hand harvested from vines up to 80 years old. Tastings and sales run Wednesday to Sunday from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm, with long lunches on the deck and terrace Wednesday to Sunday from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm. The Barrel at Clouds Vineyard, Maleny
You cannot miss the giant wine barrel shaped building on the road into Maleny. It is a multi-function venue with 360 degree views over the Blackall Range, estate wines and local craft beers from Copperhead Brewery, which makes it a good sunset stop.
Maleny Mountain Wines
A family-owned Maleny label producing reds, whites, fortifieds and dessert wines. The Kurrajong Shiraz is a long-standing favourite. Production is small and the service is personal.
Craft beer and a hatted dinner
Brouhaha Brewery in Maleny is one of Australia's most celebrated craft breweries, with a rotating tap list and a food menu built to match. Copperhead Brewery pours at The Barrel at Clouds Vineyard, so you can taste both in one afternoon.
For a special dinner out, The Long Apron at the Spicers Clovelly Estate in Montville is a French inspired hatted restaurant. If you would rather stay in, in-cottage dinner at Lillypilly's is served Wednesday to Saturday evenings, so plan your cellar door day and a quiet evening together.
