Where is Lillypilly's Country Cottages located?
Lillypilly's Country Cottages is at 584 Maleny-Montville Rd, Balmoral Ridge QLD 4552, on a private ridge above Lake Baroon between the villages of Maleny and Montville in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Queensland. It is about 90 minutes north of Brisbane and 30-40 minutes from Sunshine Coast beaches.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 2:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM. If you need different timings, contact us before your stay and we will do our best to accommodate you.
How many cottages are there and are they private?
There are five studio-style cottages, each individually designed and positioned along the ridge for total privacy. No two cottages share the same view, and each has its own private verandah.
Are the cottages dog-friendly?
Yes. Well-behaved dogs are warmly welcomed at select cottages. Please let us know your dog is joining you when you enquire so we can recommend the right cottage for you both.
Is dining available at the cottages?
Yes. Our in-cottage dining is like a restaurant for two delivered to your private verandah - chef-prepared candlelit dinners, gourmet platters and hot country breakfasts served at the moment you choose.
Does Lillypilly's have a day spa?
Yes. Our on-site day spa offers couples massages, facials and indulgent treatments, making it easy to combine a romantic cottage stay with a full spa experience without leaving the property.
Is there a swimming pool?
Yes. Guests can enjoy our freshwater pool set among native gardens, exclusively for cottage guests.
Is Lillypilly's suitable for a romantic couples getaway?
Absolutely. Lillypilly's is designed as a quiet, adults-oriented couples retreat - private cottages with spa baths and fireplaces, in-cottage dining and a day spa make it a favourite for anniversaries, honeymoons, proposals and special occasions.
How far is it from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast?
The cottages are around 90 minutes drive north of Brisbane and 30-40 minutes from Sunshine Coast beaches. Montville village is about 5 minutes away and Maleny about 10 minutes.
What is there to do nearby?
The Blackall Range surrounds you: Kondalilla Falls, Gardners Falls, Lake Baroon, Montville and Maleny villages, wineries, artisan food trails, rainforest walking tracks and the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walk are all within easy reach.

Do the cottages have views?
Yes. The cottages rest along a peaceful ridge above Lake Baroon, and each cottage enjoys its own individual outlook - lake, valley or garden - with no two views the same.
